How to shampoo your pet

For this you need 2 people, towels and a brush, and about 20 minutes. Best place is in the bathroom to minimise the mess!

1

Ensure the water temperature is comfortable and put your pet at ease by calmly stroking him/her

2

Wet your pet's body with water – except their head – until the coat is fully saturated

3

Apply the shampoo to your pet and massage their whole body, avoiding the head

4

Rinse your pet until the water runs clear. It is important to rinse off all the shampoo residue to avoid skin irritation

5

Dry your pet using a towel

6

Brush your pet to prevent tangles

7

Your pet is now clean!

I highly recommend your whitening shampoo for the shine and pleasant smell which doesn't dry my dog's skin out plus leaves her coat smooth with a lovely glimmer and shine to it.

Skin and coat care

FRONTLINE Pet Care is an award-winning skin and coat care range for keeping cats and dogs healthy and well groomed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We recommend to bathe up to once a month as necessary. If your dogs smell bad, if they scratch a lot, if their coat is dirty, dull or dusty, don’t hesitate to bathe them.
As cats groom themselves quite thoroughly every day, frequent bathing is not always necessary. But if their coat is dirty, dull, dusty or if your cat smells bad, don’t hesitate to bathe them.
Overweight or long hair cats might also need to be bathed more often as their self-grooming may not be as complete and thorough.

Shampoos can sometimes impair the efficacy of topical flea treatments. Make sure you always refer to the instructions of the flea control product. If you are using FRONTLINE Plus or FRONTLINE Spot On, you must wait at least two days after application of the flea treatment before shampooing and also ensure that your pet does not bathe or swim more often than once a week. FRONTLINE Pet Care Leave-in Foam and Daily Spritz can be used alongside flea and tick treatments, as long as you wait for 2 days after application of the parasite treatment.

All our products are suitable for puppies and kittens from two months of age and our range includes a Puppy & Kitten Shampoo with an extra-mild formulation.
