FRONTPRO^®

FRONTPRO^® is an easy to give chewable tablet that provides flea and tick protection for dogs. FRONTPRO^® kills fleas for five weeks and kills ticks for one month. For optimal control of flea and tick infestations, the product should be given at monthly intervals throughout the flea and/or tick seasons, based on local risk and the dog's lifestyle. For example dogs who visit areas where wildlife can roam generally need more regular protection than those who don’t. 

To give FRONTPRO^® , open the packaging, then remove only one chewable tablet from the blister. Return the blister with the remaining chewable tablets into the carton. The tablets are chewable and palatable to most dogs. Gently offer it to your dog in the palm of your open hand. If the dog does not accept the tablets directly it may be given with food. Make sure your dog has eaten the whole tablet. Wash hands after handling the product.

Afoxolaner (the active ingredient of FRONTPRO^® chewable tablets) kills fleas and ticks rapidly by targeting the central nervous system of the flea and/or tick causing hyperexcitation, which results in death of these parasites. Afoxolaner kills adult fleas within 8 hours, before they can lay eggs, therefore reducing the contamination of the dogs' home environment. 

The minimum treatment interval for FRONTLINE PLUS^® is 4 weeks. Please remember it’s always best to treat the pet according to their lifestyle. If you decide to use FRONTPRO^® after FRONTLINE PLUS^®, you could wait the minimum treatment interval before using FRONTPRO^® as your dog is already protected, however there are no contraindications of using the products simultaneously. Dogs weighing over 50kg can be dosed using an appropriate combination of FRONTPRO^® chewable tablets of different or same strengths. The tablets should not be divided.

Underdosing could result in ineffective use and may favour resistance development.

To ensure a correct dosage, body weight should be deermined as accurately as possible before use.

All four size options are available in a 1 tablet pack and a 3 tablet pack.

FRONTPRO^® chewable tablets are suitable for dogs aged 8 weeks and over and weighing at least 2 kg.

One treatment with FRONTPRO^® chewable tablets provides immediate and persistent flea killing activity for 5 weeks and immediate and persistent tick killing activity for one month.

The active ingredient in FRONTPRO^® chewable tablets provides immediate and persistent flea killing action. The rapid onset of action means fleas are killed before they can lay eggs, helping to prevent a home flea infestation.

FRONTPRO^® kills fleas within 8 hours after treating your dog, which is 3 times faster than most flea  products available on the Over the Counter market. FRONTPRO^® kills ticks within 48 hours¹.
